The Docking Benefice

Funerals

Our churches will always be there to help you through one of life’s most difficult times. Our funeral services are available to everyone and we will always try our best to give you the support that you need before, during and after the service. If you choose to have a funeral in the Docking Benefice, we will visit you to listen to the story of the person you knew, and will go through all the details of the funeral service with you. Sometimes the place where the person organising the funeral lives and the place where your loved one spent most of their life might be different from the place where they died. Older people move into residential care or sheltered housing in later life, but their ‘home village’ might still be the place where they wanted to have a funeral. If this is the case for you then please call me and I will be happy to do all that I can to make sure that your wishes, or the wishes of your loved one, are met so that you can all rest easy. If you have any questions about funeral services or about the burial of loved ones, or of a loved ones ashes, then please feel free to call Peter on 01485 517157. For further details please contact; Rev Peter Cook Rector of the Docking Benefice The Vicarage, Sedgeford Road, Docking PE31 8PN Telephone: 01485 517157
